WHAT IS ALREADY KNOWN
We already know that Mario Golf: Super Rush relies on Nintendo’s Switch console. This is the first addition to the Mario Golf series for the console. The predecessor “Mario Golf: World Tour” was a Nintendo 3DS game.
Switching to the switch has some advantages. For example, “Mario Golf: Super Rush” will be able to offer a split-screen mode for up to 2 players. However, if you want to play with several friends, the game offers an online mode in addition to the local and offline mode. Please note, however, that this can only be used with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
It is also known that many familiar characters will also be found in this installation of the game. In addition to well-known characters such as Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach, however, new faces also make their debut in the series.
These include Pauline and King Bob-omb, who are already known from other titles within the Mario universe. As always, each character will have their own special punch and special move. The choice is almost endless here, so everyone is sure to find their favorite.
FIRST REVIEWS OF MARIO GOLF: SUPER RUSH
As before the release of “Mario Golf: World Tour”, the Japanese publication Famitsu had the chance to rate the game. Famitsu’s rating system is made up of four evaluators, who independently give the game a score from 1 to 10. A rating of a maximum of 40 points is then made up of these scores.
On this scale, “Mario Golf: Super Rush” achieved a score of 33 out of 40 points. Three evaluators gave the game a score of 8, one evaluator a whopping 9 out of 10 points. Compared to its predecessor “Mario Golf: World Tour”, this is definitely a competitive result. At that time it achieved 34 out of 40 points in the test, one point more than the current title.
If Famitsu’s rating reflects general opinion well, fans can expect a strong game on June 25th. Then it will go on sale.
