New smartphones from ZTE, Poco, Realme, Oppo and Samsung

In the past few days there have been some interesting new smartphone launches. We’ll keep you up to date with new cell phone models from Poco and ZTE, among others.

Lots of new smartphones. This is how it can be summarized in a few words what has happened on the mobile phone market in the past few days. Because was introduced not only the OnePlus Nord 2 , and Nokia has the Nokia C30 and the Nokia XR20 two new mobile phones pulled out of a hat . And with the Power U20 and the Power U10, Wiko has presented two more smartphones with a large battery for the German market, of which inside digital reported in advance a few days ago . But that wasn’t all.

ZTE AXON 30: SMARTPHONE WITH A HIDDEN FRONT CAMERA

After the ZTE Axon 20 , the ZTE Axon 30 will be available soon . The Chinese manufacturer promises that the latest generation of the under-display camera is built into it. Whether it delivers better results than the invisible front camera built into the ZTE Axon 20 ? Only a test will be able to provide information about this. The screen itself is 6.92 inches and has a 20.5: 9 format, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1,080 x 2,460 pixels.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870G is responsible for the performance of the ZTE Axon 30, which weighs 189 grams . This is joined by up to 12 GB of RAM and a 4,200 mAh battery. The latter can be recharged with up to 55 watts. Installed on the back: A main camera with a resolution of 64 megapixels, a wide-angle camera (8 megapixels), a macro camera and a depth of field lens with a resolution of 2 megapixels each. The global version of the ZTE Axon 30 should be available soon.

The display of the ZTE Axon 30 is not interrupted by any camera hole because the camera is behind the screen.

In China, the cheapest model of the ZTE Axon 30 costs around 285 euros – equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space. The right model with 8 GB of RAM is offered for the equivalent of 325 euros. Do you want 256 GB of storage space? With 8 GB RAM you pay 365 euros, with 12 GB RAM 390 euros. German prices are likely to be around 100 euros higher.

POCO F3 GT: NEW GAMING SMARTPHONE

The new Poco F3 GT is initially only available in India – later introduction in Europe is not excluded. It offers a lot of performance at an affordable price. For example, the Xiaomi sub-brand packs the 5G- enabled MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor into the phone. The AMOLED display is 6.67 inches and offers a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The battery has a capacity of 5,065 mAh. What about the cameras? Three of them can be found on the back. A main camera (64 megapixels) is joined by an ultra-wide-angle camera (8 megapixels) and a macro camera (2 megapixels). There is a 16-megapixel camera in the front.

The Poco F3 GT based on Android 11, which also supports WiFi 6 , is offered in the following three memory variants:

6 GB RAM / 128 GB storage space: the equivalent of 375 euros
8 GB RAM / 128 GB storage space: the equivalent of 400 euros
8 GB RAM / 256 GB storage space: the equivalent of 420 euros
The Poco F3 GT is classified as a gaming smartphone . Special shoulder buttons are integrated into the housing for controlling games. The energy storage device can be recharged with 67 watts via a USB- C connection. Poco promises that a full charge will take less than 45 minutes. REALME GT MASTER / REALME GT MASTER EXPLORER: HIGH QUALITY SMARTPHONES FROM ASIA

Initially only intended for the Chinese market:  the Realme GT Master and the Realme GT Master Explorer. Compared to the classic Realme GT , a slightly weaker processor is used, but the two GT-Master models have a better front camera on board.

The heart of the Realme GT Master is the 5G-capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. Basically, the CPU is supported by 8 GB of RAM, flanked by either 128 or 256 GB of storage space. The AMOLED screen is 6.43 inches in size and offers a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels – with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There are three cameras on the back (64 + 8 + 2 megapixels), and a 32-megapixel in the front. Camera. The battery is 4,300 mAh and can be charged with up to 65 watts. Cost point: the equivalent of around 310 euros for the 128 GB model and just under 340 euros for the smartphone with 256 GB of storage.

The Realme GT Master is a rock-solid mid-range smartphone.

Realme GT Master Explorer

The Realme GT Master Explorer offers an even higher quality configuration. The camera setup on the back of this smartphone consists of a 50-megapixel main camera ( Sony IMX766), a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (Sony IMX481) and a simple macro lens (2 megapixels). As with the master model, there is a 32-megapixel camera on the front. Compared to the simple GT Master, the display is not only rounded on the sides, but also slightly larger (6.55 inches / 1,080 x 2,400 pixels / 120 Hz), which gives the battery a little more capacity on the back (4,500 mAh). And: The processor of the GT Master Explorer is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870integrated. All of this drives the price of the 128 GB model to the equivalent of 365 euros. The 256 GB model costs just under 420 euros.

Important: The GT-Master models from Realme that are now being presented in China do not support LTE band 20. Therefore, importing to Germany is not recommended. Should Realme officially bring the two phones to Germany soon, the integrated antenna technology will be adapted to the local market.

SAMSUNG GALAXY M21 2021 EDITION: BATTERY FULL

There is also a new smartphone from Samsung . The novelty in this case is more of an update. Because the well-known Galaxy M21 from 2020 is now available in an updated version as the Galaxy M21 (2021) with preinstalled Android 11 and One UI 3.1 user interface – initially only in India. Also on board: 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage space. As usual, the Samsung Exynos 9611 is used as the processor.

There are nominally no changes in the three cameras (48 + 8 + 5 megapixels), but they are now arranged a little differently on the back. The front camera offers a resolution of 20 megapixels. The display is 6.4 inches as usual and offers a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. A 6,000 mAh battery is responsible for the energy supply. We are offering the Samsung Galaxy M21 (2021) in light blue and black – at a price of around 140 euros. A variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space is also available as an option – for the equivalent of 195 euros.

OPPO A16: SMARTPHONE FOR BEGINNERS

We would like to conclude the series of smartphone launches this week with the 190 gram Oppo A16. It offers 3 GB RAM, 32 GB storage space and the MediaTek Helio G35 as a processor. The LCD display is 6.52 inches, offers a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a 5,000 mAh battery is installed for a long battery life.

The camera setup on the back is made up of three units that can resolve up to 13 + 2 + 2 megapixels. An 8-megapixel camera is installed on the front. 5G is not supported, dual WLAN (2.4 & 5 GHz) is on board. The price: around 115 euros.
