Apple’s iPhone fans had to be patient for a year. Yesterday evening it was that time again: Apple revealed the secret of the new iPhone 6. As already suspected in many rumors, it will appear as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Plagued by severe technical problems, Apple presented its keynote on the new iPhone on Tuesday evening. While it was difficult to get information about the new iPhones 6 in the evening due to the server crashes, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are now on the Apple homepage.
Apple itself describes its two new iPhone 6 models as the “largest” and also “thinnest” iPhone that has ever been manufactured. Because the iPhone 6 is only 6.9 millimeters and the iPhone 6 Plus only 7.1 millimeters thin. It is still made of high-quality aluminum, stainless steel and glass and has the well-known rounded corners. The volume rocker is slightly different. This no longer consists of two individual buttons, but of two elongated strips.
RETINA HD DISPLAY AND 64-BIT A8 PROCESSOR
The display of the new iPhones is not only larger, but also higher-resolution. The 4.7 inch display has a Retina HD resolution of 1,334 x 750 pixels and the larger iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5 inch display with a Retina HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The pixel density of the iPhone 6 is 326 ppi and that of the iPhone 6 Plus is 401 ppi. The Retina HD displays promise advanced technologies such as high contrast for deeper blacks and dual-domain pixels for more precise colors at larger viewing angles.
The new 64-bit A8 processor is built into both iPhone 6s, which is supposed to bring 25 percent more performance than its predecessor and can count steps. The Wi-Fi connection in the iPhone 6 should also be three times faster than before. With Metal, a new graphics technology in iOS 8, developers should even be able to use the power of the A8 chip to bring 3D games to the iPhone at console level. The A8 chip also contains a new image signal processor designed by Apple, which enables improved camera and video functions. With iOS 8, the movement data of the M8 motion coprocessor appears in the health app, so that at the end of the day you can check how many stairs you have climbed or how far you have walked or run.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
The rear camera has also been improved. This still triggers with 8 megapixels, but has a new photo sensor for faster focusing. Furthermore, in contrast to the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 Plus also has an optical image stabilizer. Apple has also upgraded the slow-motion video function properly. The particularly slow videos now even record 240 frames per second. The focus pixel technology already mentioned above should also enable faster refocusing when filming. Apple has also recognized the selfie trend and has also improved the FaceTime HD camera on the front of the new iPhone model. This now captures over 80 percent more light with a new sensor and offers improved new functions such as burst mode and HDR video with a larger f / 2.2 aperture.

APPLE PAY – CASHLESS PAYMENTS WITH THE IPHONE
With Apple Pay , it will now also be possible to make cashless payments with the iPhone. The new Apple technology works with NFC. Near Field Communication is also part of an iPhone for the first time. Credit cards can be stored in Apple’s Passbook app and in order to protect them adequately from strangers, the cards can then be used to pay by fingerprint. Visa, Mastercard, Amex and various other partners will cooperate with Apple – but initially only from autumn in the USA . Thanks to NFC technology, Apple Pay will only be possible with the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
IPHONE 6 FROM 699 EUROS – IPHONE 6 PLUS FROM 799 EUROS
On September 19th it will be full in front of the German Apple Stores. The new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available there from 8 a.m. Due to the new size, the price is a bit higher. The iPhone 6 costs 699 euros in the 16 GB version, 799 euros in the 32 GB version and 899 euros with 128 GB storage. 100 euros more are due in the respective version for the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. With the new iPhone 6 models, the previous year’s models are also a little cheaper. The 16 GB version of the iPhone 5s now costs € 599, the 32 GB version costs € 649 and the iPhone 5c as an 8 GB model costs € 399.
ONE MORE THING – APPLE SHOWS ITS SMARTWATCH
With thunderous applause and standing ovations, Apple also presented its first smartwatch – the Apple Watch. The iWatch is also clearly aimed at the area of health and fitness. On the inside of the iWatch there are various sensors that measure the heartbeat, among other things. The band of the Apple Watch will be available in several colors and should be easy to replace.
