It is no longer uncommon for Aldi to sell e-bikes . But from July 12, the food discounter is trying to gain a foothold in another segment. Then the Inoa S4 li e-scooter from Nova Motors is available via the Aldi Süd online shop . We’ll show you what the scooter can do and whether it’s really as good a bargain as it looks at first glance.
BUY E-SCOOTERS FROM ALDI – IT’S INSIDE
Aldi Süd offers the “fast” version of the 67 kilogram Nova engine Inoa S4 left. It not only reaches a maximum of 25 km / h, but up to 45 km / h and is equipped with a brushless wheel hub motor (48 V) from Bosch . The interchangeable battery pack supplied allows the scooter to be driven up to 60 kilometers under optimal conditions – emission-free. If you buy a second battery pack – it costs 579 euros extra from the manufacturer – a range of up to 120 kilometers is possible. A charger for a normal socket is included in the scope of delivery. It fully charges the supplied battery in four to six hours.
For safety disc brakes are front and rear ensure, also, two rear-view mirror mounted. Thieves should be deterred by an alarm system including theft protection. In addition to a main stand, a side stand can also be used. And of course an LED lighting system should not be missing. The scooter is delivered with two keys and two remote controls. The latter also allow the scooter to be started remotely. The current travel speed can be read from an LCD display. The 45 km / h version is approved for two people.
WHAT DOES THE NOVA MOTORS INOA S4 LI COST?
The Nova Motors Inoa S4 li is currently available from Lidl, among others. There it costs 1,599 euros. Aldi deducts a hundred and offers the electrified scooter at a price of 1,499 euros. According to the information on the Nova Motors website, the recommended retail price is 2,199 euros. The manufacturer itself is already offering its S4 e-scooter at a discounted price of 1,799 euros. However, that is still 300 euros more than you would have to pay at Aldi Süd.
