Good news for all Edeka Smart customers: You can now get more LTE data volume for the same amount of money in almost all tariffs. And there is a completely new tariff for infrequent users on top.
At Edeka Smart, new conditions apply with immediate effect in the so-called combined tariffs. While the basic fees remain unaffected, the included services provided in terms of Internet data volume increase. And now there is also a brand new tariff for beginners. All tariffs are still available via the Deutsche Telekom mobile network .
EDEKA SMART: THESE ARE THE NEW MOBILE PHONE TARIFFS
As usual, Edeka Smart has two Allnet Flats available. In addition to the unlimited flat rate Kombi Max for 94.95 euros per four weeks , you can also opt for the much cheaper Kombi XL tariff. Here you get a voice and SMS flat rate in all German networks, which is combined with an Internet flat rate. For 24.95 euros per four weeks , you have 8 GB of LTE data volume with up to 300 Mbit / s in the downstream and 50 Mbit / s in the upstream in each billing period. So far it was only 5 GB.
You don’t need a voice flat rate, but can you get by with a certain volume of free minutes? Then you can now choose between three suitable tariffs at Edeka Smart. Kombi L now offers you 5 instead of 3 GB LTE data volume (maximum 300 Mbit / s downstream) for 14.95 euros per four weeks . There are also 300 free minutes for calls to all German networks, each SMS costs 9 cents extra. Exception: Calls and SMS to other Telekom cell phone connections are possible at no extra charge.
The Kombi M tariff is set up identically for 9.95 euros per four weeks . With the exception that you can only use 200 free minutes here and only 3 GB of LTE data volume can be used. So far it was 2 GB. The Kombi S tariff is completely new at Edeka Smart. Here you get 1 GB LTE data volume with up to 300 Mbit / s downstream for 4.95 euros per four weeks . There are also 50 free minutes and 50 free SMS to all German networks. Each additional minute and SMS costs 9 cents extra. Calls and SMS to Telekom cell phone connections are also possible with this tariff at no extra cost.
ADDITIONAL LTE DATA VOLUME FOR A SURCHARGE
If the LTE data volume in the combi tariffs is used up, it continues for the rest of the current billing period at only 32 Kbit / s in the downstream and 16 Kbit / s in the upstream. The mobile internet is no longer fun at such a reduced speed. Often the content doesn’t even load anymore. That is why there is the option of booking additional LTE data volume in all tariffs. For example 500 MB for seven days at a price of 4.95 euros or 2.5 GB for four weeks for 19.95 euros. If your number is ported, you get a 10 euro bonus credit.
By the way: Existing Edeka Smart customers (2nd and 3rd generation) will automatically benefit from the tariff adjustment. Existing customers from the 1st generation can switch to the new tariffs at any time via the Edeka smart app or Edeka smart customer service.
