The real-action series “Fate: The Winx Saga” is a remake of the children’s animation series “Winx Club”. After the success of the first season, work is now underway on the second season and apparently the production has taken the criticism of its fans about the first season to heart.
Fans of the animated series “Winx Club” were skeptical when Netflix announced that they would be producing a live version of the fairies. While the animation series is aimed at children, the live-action series takes on a slightly more adult and somber tone. At the beginning of the year it happened, and in addition to some reviews, some fans were positively surprised by the new series. Soon after, the news came that “Fate: The Winx Saga” had been extended for a second season.
RETURN OF A POPULAR CHARACTER
One review of “Fate: The Winx Saga” was that it lacks a leading role in the animated series. There was no trace of the nature fairy Flora in the Netflix series. Instead, Terra appeared, a little like Flora. The filming of the second season is already underway and it has now been announced that Flora will finally be there too. Paulina Chavez, who already had the title role in “The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia”, will now appear as Flora in Alfea. Also new are Éanna Hardwick as Sebastian and Brandon Grace as Gray.
FATE: THE WINX SAGA SECOND SEASON
In the first season of the live-action series “Fate: The Winx Saga”, Bloom , Stella, Musa, Aisha and Terra had to travel to battle against evil monsters and Alfea were faced with major threats. The five fairies can also be seen in front of the camera in the second season. After the big season finale, there is still some potential for conflict that could be addressed in the second season. Netflix has not yet announced a specific start date for the new episodes. However, it is to be expected that the second season will start on Netflix in early 2022. So far, the first trailer for the new season is still a long time coming. However, first impressions of the filming, which are already in progress, can be found on social media platforms. Both on Twitteras well as on Instagram there are the first pictures on which Paulina Chavez can be seen in her role as Flora.
