Every two weeks the Epic Games Store offers free games on its website, which players can permanently download. But the offer is limited in time, so don’t wait too long! You can find out which games this time around here.
The two games, which will be available for free in the Epic Games Store from July 8th, may not be AAA titles, but they are still worth taking a look at. But not only because they are free. Even smaller games can often bring hours of fun with them.
BRIDGE CONSTRUCTOR – THE WALKING DEAD
The first track is “ Bridge Constructor The Walking Dead ”. The game, which usually costs 10 euros, is available for free from July 8th to July 15th in the Epic Games Store. This is a basic game that can be played without buying other games. Bridge Constructor is a popular series of games that is about building stable bridges using a variety of materials and strategies. The game consists of different levels. With each passed level, the obstacles to be overcome become harder. The requirements for the bridges you have constructed also increase steadily with each additional level.
“Bridge Constructor The Walking Dead” is now a crossover of series and game. The popular series The Walking Dead meets your skills as a bridge builder. The addition of zombies creates a whole new level in the game. In addition to their main function as a bridge, your constructions must now also serve as traps.
It is up to you to decide who will cross your bridge safely and who willfully be thrown into the abyss by it. So make sure that the zombies don’t reach their destination and the people make it to safety .
The game convinces above all with funny and loving animations, as well as cleverly designed levels. Of course, “Bridge Constructor The Walking Dead” is a lot more imaginative than the original game and contains some new, creative elements that have to be mastered.
IRONCAST ON THE EPIC GAMES STORE
Ironcast won’t even be available in the Epic Games Store until July 8th, and it’s free. The lovingly designed game is a puzzle game that is comparable to popular games such as Candy Crush.
However, Ironcast includes a complete, separate combat system in addition to the widespread puzzle elements. You use a so-called “Ironcast” in this system, which you can upgrade. By solving the puzzles you defeat your opponents and from their scrap pieces you can win upgrades for your Ironcast.
The Ironcast is a 7 meter high, two-legged steel fighting machine that can fire weapons. You will see your Ironcast on the left side of your screen during the game, while your opponent will appear on the right. In the foreground you solve the puzzles, but you can watch the fight of your Ironcast on the side.
The game was inspired by the Victorian era and takes place in an alternate past. It’s up to you to use your Ironcast to defeat the enemies of the British Empire and defend England of the 1880s.
HOW DO I GET THE GAMES?
To add the two free games to your game library on July 8th, all you need to do is register with the Epic Games Store and complete the “purchase process”. Once the games are in your library, you have free access to them forever. You don’t have to install it directly either, it is enough when you have completed the purchase process. So not only is it free, but it doesn’t even take up space on your hard drive to get the games.
