At the CES 2023 (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, numerous innovations in the field of gaming were presented again this year. Here’s an overview of what you can look forward to in the near future.

DELL/ALIENWARE HIGHLIGHTS

Alienware from Dell presented several new products at CES. Underneath is an extraordinary monitor : The screen wants to be one of the fastest at up to 500Hz. Due to the high speed, this is particularly well suited for games in which every fraction of a second counts. This primarily includes games that have an active e-sports scene. But the monitor should also score outside of professional e-sports. With Nvidia G-Sync functionality and RGB lighting, the monitor could actually be the highlight of any setup in the future . However, the monitor is quite small at only 24.5 inches and only offers FHD resolution .

Also from Alienware there will soon be huge 18 inch gaming laptops. Not only are they big, they are also full of power. The case hides the latest processors and graphics cards, which should ensure optimal performance when gaming. The laptop’s display is available in either 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and up to 165Hz, or in FHD+ with up to 480Hz.

NEW LAPTOPS AND MORE FROM LENOVO

Lenovo introduced a whole range of new laptops at CES as Legion. These are characterized above all by their equipment with the 40 series of Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics cards. Otherwise, the laptops are solid devices with a size of 16 inches, but otherwise hardly stand out from the competition. Legion is also bringing three new desktop PCs onto the market, which should also score with the latest hardware and a chic design.

Of course there are also two new monitors from Legion . With a size of 27 inches, QHD resolution and refresh rates of up to 280 Hz, these are monitors that should convince gamers. A highlight of the monitors is that they have complete freedom of movement on the stand provided. This allows you to adjust them exactly to your liking. This feature is already known from previous Legion monitors.

According to the manufacturer, the Studiobook 16 3D OLED has a 3D OLED display with a resolution of 3,200 x 2,000 pixels and 120 Hz. The Studiobook 16 and Pro 16 also have an OLED display, but without 3D functionality. However, a touchscreen should be installed here. In general, the displays seem to be the highlight of the new laptops.

This is SpatialLabs TrueGame 3D Ultra, a technology that makes 3D gaming even more immersive.
