Leaks from Middle-earth: New rights to the Lord of the Rings series

New information on the “Lord of the Rings” series that Amazon produces reveals more about the actions of the aftermath of Middle-earth. In addition to references to the actions, there is also a leak for new film rights.

The Lord of the Rings series takes you back to Middle-earth

Amazon has been working on a series that will be set in Middle-earth for some time. In terms of time, the series should play films well before the events of the Lord of the Rings . The site TheOneRing.net was able to find out some big leaks about the new series adventure. These include leaks about new film rights, filming and news about the Hobbits.

NEW RIGHTS WERE GRANTED

For the first time, film rights to Tolkien’s works “The Silmarillion” and “Messages from Middle-earth” were given. However, the rights to the complete works were not given here, but only to some passages and excerpts from the works. “The Silmarillion” and “News from Middle-earth” are loose stories from Middle-earth that were published by his son only after Tolkien’s death. Since the Tolkien heirs are apparently closely involved in the creation process of the series and they are very enthusiastic, the heirs to Amazon have now given some rights to these works. This is something that has never been done before. Amazon has now also received the rights for merchandise items.

NEWS FROM THE HOBBITS

Some well-known actor names have already been announced, but some star names seem to be kept under wraps. However, it has now been announced that Sir Lenny Henry will also play in the Lord of the Rings series as the Hobbit. Another leak reveals that the series will be about the great hobbits. This should also include clear differences between the individual tribes of the wandering hobbits. In the works of Tolkien there is the feature of dark-skinned hair feet. These should now also exist in the series.

FILMING OF THE LORD OF THE RINGS SERIES

Most of the filming for the Lord of the Rings series has been completed. Amazon worked with a complete fake crew who shot scenes with fake actors at certain locations. These fake crews only served to confuse curious fans.

It also emerged that the first two episodes of the new Lord of the Rings series have their own storyline, which is completed after the second episode. Director JA Bayona is behind these two single episodes. The series is expected to appear in mid-2022.
