A new Marvel movie will hit theaters on September 2nd. This time it will be about the comic book hero Shang-Chi, who has had a difficult childhood. Disney has now released a new and surprising trailer.

UNEXPECTED RETURN
The last scene of the new trailer shows an arena, which was already shown in a previous trailer. But this time one sees, among other things, Shang-Chi fighting in the arena and in another scene none other than Abomination. The green being first appeared in “The Incredible Hulk” and has not been seen in other films since. Abomination is a mutated version of Emil Blonsky, who worked for the British Navy for a long time. Now there seems to be a return to the Marvel Universe for Abomination .
But Abomination isn’t the only familiar face in the trailer. The mutant being’s combat partner appears to be from the Doctor Strange universe. Even if the opponent is not recognizable with his face in the trailer, everything points to the wizard Wong.
SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS
Shang-Chi is the son of the leader of “The Ten Rings”, a terrorist organization that owns the mighty 10 Rings. From an early age, Shang-Chi was raised to be a warrior. This makes Shang-Chi the first hero in the Marvel universe with martial arts scenes. Some scenes can already be seen in the trailer. However, Shang-Chi doesn’t want to be like his father and so there is a complicated family story in the new Marvel film, in which father and son are on two different sides. Both a young and an adult Shang-Chi can be seen in the trailer. Thus, in the film, we will be able to look at the complex family history with a look into the past.
