At MediaMarkt or Saturn, you could always turn to a local salesperson if you found a product cheaper online but would rather buy it in store. However, this offer has not been officially advertised lately and depended a little on the favor of the employees or the friendliness of the customer. Now MediaMarkt and Saturn are officially bringing back the “price promise” for all stores in Germany. But there is a major limitation.
PRICE PROMISE NOT FOR ALL CUSTOMERS
The price promise is now officially valid in all markets, but no longer unconditionally for every customer. MediaMarkt writes about this on its website :
So you need a myMediaMarkt card or Saturn card . However, this is not a major obstacle, as both customer cards can be applied for free of charge in the store, online or via smartphone app. The QR code on the smartphone is also sufficient and you don’t have to carry a physical card around in your wallet.
THIS IS HOW THE PRICE GUARANTEE WORKS AT MEDIAMARKT AND SATURN
In order to benefit from the price guarantee, you have to speak to an employee in the store. This can be presented with the cheaper offer from another shop. Amazon.de , Otto.de, Cyberport.de, Alternate.de, Notebooksbilliger.de, CoolBlue.de, Expert.de, Galaxus.de are supported here . MediaMarkt.de or Saturn.de. The respective product must be in stock and delivered within three days. Stationary shops within a radius of 30 kilometers are also taken into account. Here you can prove the lower price with a flyer or other advertisement.
The employee will provide you with a printout for the checkout, which will certify the cheaper price. You can present this at the checkout when paying. Your myMediaMarkt card or Saturn card must also be presented here again.
