Since the release in November 2019, Planet Zoo has managed to stay innovative and up-to-date until 2021. The game is still loved by fans and can score points with new expansions. Why is that?

5 Conclusion on Planet Zoo
The reviews for Planet Zoo are still immensely positive in 2021. On Metacritic, the title achieved a whopping 81 points, according to Google, 97% of users like the game, and the ratings on Steam also maintain the status of “very positive”.
A GAMING EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER
Planet Zoo is different from other zoo simulations. Attention to detail and almost endless customization options make the game a unique experience. Each player’s gaming experience is fundamentally different from that of the others, even though both are playing the same game.
Any object, no matter how small, can be customized. Not only the color can be changed, each object can be combined with others, alignment and position can be precisely determined. The result: no two zoos are the same. Despite the fact that players use the same design elements, each and every one of them can be adapted so that they hardly resemble each other.
And if that’s still not enough, there is free content from the Steam Workshop for you. These creations created by other players can easily be adopted and adapted in your own game. In this way, even less creative players, who are more concerned with the gameplay than with the design, can design their park according to their wishes.
PARK MANAGEMENT
Another important element of any good park simulation like Planet Zoo is a functional park management system. In addition to the construction and population of the park, one ultimately also wants to ensure that everything goes according to plan and that both animals and visitors can happily coexist.
For example, if you neglect the welfare of your animals, protesting groups will appear in your park and bring the evaluation of your park to its knees. However, if you pay attention to your animals and neglect the education and entertainment of your visitors, they will probably not visit your zoo a second time. So make sure that the visitors see the animals, but do not stress them with constant commotion in front of the glass. Stressed animals are sick animals that your visitors will certainly not have fun with.
THE ANIMALS FROM PLANET ZOO
The most important element of every zoo simulation, however, is not the decorative objects. Without the many different animals that bring the zoo to life, nothing would work. Planet Zoo can also score points in this category. Not only are the animals incredibly cute and exciting to watch, there are also an immense number of them!
From the elegant giraffe to the American buffalo and the terrifying giant tarantula, everything is here. Animals from all over the world come together in your park. Your task now is to take care of their well-being and the preservation of the species. Just like in real life, the animals in Planet Zoo have different levels of danger. For example, the Bengal tigers are endangered, while the warthog is rather good at it. In Planet Zoo, you can contribute to the conservation of endangered animals by breeding and reintroducing them to the wild.
The game currently includes 108 different animal species that you can take care of, but growth is already on the way
THE AFRICA PACK
Your zoo can count on a new addition from Africa on June 22nd! The brand new Africa Pack adds new animals and objects from far-off Africa to the game. According to Planet Zoo, there will be a whopping 180+ design elements, 5 new animals and even a completely new scenario that can be added to the game for 10 euros.
The five new animals are: meerkat, white rhinoceros, penguin, fennec (desert fox) and sacred pill-turner. If you want to welcome these new animals to your zoo, keep your eyes peeled for the new expansion on June 22nd!
CONCLUSION ON PLANET ZOO
Planet Zoo is a park management simulation like no other. If you like to tinker with a project with attention to detail, then you will make the right choice with Planet Zoo. The game is currently available on Steam for 45 euros, but the Steam Summer Sale is looming and could reduce this price considerably.
