In the entertainment week of our readers’ choice, you could choose streaming services, gaming providers and TV technologies. Now we have the results – and hereby announce the proud winners from the entertainment category.

In addition to the categories mobile phone , at home and on the move , our readers voted on the best products in the entertainment category in the last few weeks of our readers’ choice 2021 . It started with the question: Who offers Germany’s best streaming offer for video-on-demand? You made a clear decision – because Netflix took first place with a strong 42 percent. Not surprising, but certainly deserved thanks to the huge selection . Amazon Prime Video came in second with around 26 percent of the vote. This makes the streaming service a real alternative for the front runner. With a large margin and a good 8 percent, the ARD media library made it to third place. The public service provider is ahead of private services such as Disney + and YouTube.

We also wanted to know from you which is the best streaming offer for live TV and sports. Here Sky made it to first place by a large margin – with almost 50 percent of all votes. The streaming service barely leaves its competitors a chance. And yet: MagentaTV / MagentaSport made it to second place with just under 22 percent, making it the best alternative for a fifth of the voters. DAZN secured third place with almost 17 percent for the title of the best streaming offer in the area of live TV and sports.
AUDIO STREAMING: SPOTIFY CLEARLY AHEAD – AMAZON SECURED TWO PLACES IN THE READERS’ CHOICE
The provider for the best audio streaming also made a clear decision. Because with around 40 percent, Spotify clearly climbs to the top. Amazon grabbed second and third place: Amazon Music achieved a good 16 percent and the audiobook app Audible is hot on the heels with a good 14 percent.

It continues with the area of gaming . Which game console is the best? The inside digital community voted clearly and voted for PlayStation 5 with over half of all votes. Another console tends to appeal to a different target group and made it to second place with a good 22 percent – the Nintendo Switch. A good 15 percent of the votes go to the Xbox Series X.
PLAYSTATION PLUS VS. STEAM: WHO WINS?
Who offers the best gaming service? In keeping with the best console, you also opted for the service from Sony . PlayStation Plus took first place with around 34 percent. Here, however, the competitors follow closer. That may be due to the fact that all PC gamers also had a say in this. The gaming service Steam receives almost a quarter of all votes. Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass came in third.

And finally, in the entertainment category, we asked about the best television technology. The result is very clear: Samsung QLED. Almost 32 percent of all voters voted for this. LG OLED made it to second place with a good 23 percent and Panasonic Master HDR OLED came in third with just under 13 percent.
