With this campaign, motorists can save money when filling up.

Energy and fuel are more expensive than ever this year – the energy crisis sends its regards. It is not only at home that one has to contend with rising prices for gas and electricity, but drivers also have to contend with skyrocketing costs for petrol and diesel . The federal government ‘s tank discount has long been history. And yet drivers can now save money again – at Lidl.

TANK DISCOUNT: THIS IS HOW YOU CAN SECURE IT AT LIDL

In the app itself, Lidl points to a current campaign that drivers should be happy about in view of the high fuel prices. The discounter is once again cooperating with Shell so that you can save a lot when you fill up – but only for a short time. The catch: you’re tied to Shell’s gas stations. A total of 1,500 Shell gas stations are taking part in the campaign, which you can see listed here .

In detail, the campaign is also linked to the condition that you fill up with a maximum of 70 liters, so you can effectively save 3 cents per liter. If you take advantage of the offer and fill up your car with 70 liters of fuel, you can save up to 2.10 euros.

To take advantage of the discount, you must have the Lidl Android or iOS app installed on your phone. Under “Actions and discounts” you will find the tank benefits that you can redeem at Shell. After filling up, you can show the voucher at the Shell checkout and have it scanned. It is important to know that sometimes not every Shell petrol station takes part in the campaign. You can also see which branches are included in the app. The Lidl and Shell tank campaign is now running up to and including December 18th.

REFUEL WITH CARE
