Sky has lost some of the rights to the Bundesliga . Since these are the games on Sunday, Sky can offer a new feature for the conference on Saturday. With the start of the new season in the first division , Sky is introducing a new functionality for Sky Q users that many fans have been waiting for for a long time. Sky is starting the “My Conference” function for the new Bundesliga season, with which you can put together a live conference according to your wishes. The new function will still be available in the beta version in August. According to Sky, other “interesting features” will then follow gradually.

And this is how it works: With the “My Conference” function, you select the games in the Sky-Q menu that interest you. You will then be kept informed of the most important events via the highlight alarm, but you can still watch your main game. If something happens in the other games, you will get a notification on the TV screen. You can then decide whether you want to switch directly to the other live game. Alternatively, you can look at the highlights later. This can also be done, for example, with the “What did I miss?” Function during a game.

Telekom had a comparable function many years ago with its IPTV Bundesliga broadcaster Liga total! offered. However, when Telekom lost the rights, this feature also disappeared again.

SKY Q IS EXPANDING

Sky introduces the new personal conference in addition to the existing Sky conference,

in which the director leads through the various games and puts together the highlights. The single games on Saturday will also stay with Sky. The new function can only be used with a Sky-Q receiver and therefore not with a Sky Ticket. From now on, you can only watch the Bundesliga games on Friday and Sunday live on DAZN. We have put together all the information you need to know about Bundesliga rights for the new season in a Bundesliga guide .

Sky is also planning further changes to Sky Q, which the company plans to announce today. It’s about Sky Q over the Internet . What is behind this is not yet known.
