Month after month, many smartphones receive new updates. This is no different at the end of November, when, among other things, the big Android 13 wave is rolling at some manufacturers. We’ll tell you whether your smartphone will also receive a new update.
Samsung in particular is trying to supply more and more smartphones with Android 13 . Among others, the Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy S21 family are now equipped with the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system; including Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S21 FE 5G . Furthermore, Android 13 is already available for various foldable models from Samsung. Among others for the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G , Galaxy Z Fold3 5G , Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 . The same applies to the outdoor smartphoneGalaxy Xcover 6 Pro , as well as the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 10 Lite Note models .

And of course, the most popular models of the Galaxy A series should not be missing in this extensive series of updates. Accordingly, Samsung has already released an update to Android 13 for the Galaxy A53 5G , but also for the Galaxy A33 5G . In addition, users of some older A-Class devices can use the upgrade. Those who own the Galaxy A52 , the Galaxy A71 or the Galaxy A72 should be mentioned, among others . For current M-Class models, Android 13 is already available for download for the Galaxy M52 5G .
All smartphones that Samsung has upgraded to Android 13 will also have the optimized One UI 5 user interface . And of course, on top of that, the current November security patch, which eliminates numerous newly discovered security gaps in Android. But part of the truth is also: The Galaxy Fold , one of the first foldables ever produced by Samsung from 2019, is now no longer provided with a monthly security update, but only four times a year.
GOOGLE PIXEL SMARTPHONES GET NOVEMBER UPDATE
A comprehensive November update is also available for all users of Google Pixel smartphones that are already equipped with Android 13. The latest software patch includes the November patch, among other things, but also fixes some bugs that sometimes severely affect the user experience. On the Pixel 6 , Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6a , for example, the update ensures that the increased power consumption when installing certain apps no longer occurs.
On the other hand, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro may experience green flickering on the screen under certain conditions. The update eliminates this error. In addition, the update ensures optimized power consumption and the above-average heating of the two devices that can be observed in certain scenarios should no longer occur. In some cases, on the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro , it can also be observed that the photos app closes out of nowhere. A bug that Google also wants to have fixed with the latest Pixel update.
MORE IMPORTANT SMARTPHONE UPDATES
An update to Android 12L is now available for the Microsoft Surface Duo and the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 . Android 13, on the other hand, is available for the Sony Xperia 1 IV and the Sony Xperia 5 IV . In addition, OnePlus has released an update to OxygenOS 13 for the OnePlus 8 series as well as for the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro . And that, too, is essentially an upgrade to Android 13.
The Nothing Pone (1) has also received another update . It can now be used with Nothing OS 1.1.7. One of the consequences of this is that better audio quality can be used when recording videos and that WhatsApp notifications can also be selected on the lock screen if they appear there. Users of the Huawei P40 Lite have also been able to install Google’s October patch on their smartphone for a few days now, and an update to iOS 16.1.1 has been available for supported iPhones from Apple for a few days .
